Installing a new sewer connection can be a time consuming and complicated task,
here at U C Em Facilities we have developed a streamlined process for every project to make this as easy and stress free as possible.
The process includes the following steps which we will support you with:
STEP 1: Apply to the local Water Authority for your connection which involves drawings, postcode or grid reference plus a fee payable.
STEP 2: Permission is required from the local Highways Authority to enter highway (whether road, footpath or verge).
STEP 3: A Service Search is required to check with Local Authorities if their equipment is present in the area (there may be a charge of around £50).
STEP 4: Our team carries out works to connect your property.
The process is likely to take a minimum of 6 weeks depending on approvals from local highways.
At U C Em Facilities we understand all of the necessary procedures and we are fully conversant with the requirements of the New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) and work to all current standards set-out in Sewers for adoption 7th Addition.
